Bushcraft Professional development Course..

Suitable for Adventure Activity instructors, Forest School leaders and outdoor education professionals seeking to develop competence in core Bushcraft skills and provide ideas, inspiration and guidelines for safe and sustainable practice in outdoor contexts. The course is packed with information, very hands-on and a great confidence booster for working with groups.
Bushcraft Birthdays (6years and up)
Come to our secret base camp in the woods.
In the cool shade of the trees, the kids and the parents, will spend a magical afternoon collecting firewood, lighting fires, from spark to flame, boiling water in a kelly kettle for a round of hot chocolate, making predator callers, and swinging in hammocks.
Children’s laughter will ring through the trees, wood smoke wafts around the camp, and it felt as if time had stopped. Just get in touch and we can arrange to celebrate your child’s birthday in a unique way.. the event can last all day or just a few hours, location is Laragh, Wicklow…
Introduction To Axe Throwing Course..
Firefox is running an Introduction To Axe Throwing Course on the following dates:
18th March, 7th April, 13th May and 24th June
The course outline is as follows:
- Introduction to axe throwing safety with Flying Angel Axes, including self-coaching and technique.
- Practice throws then a mini-tournament with other participants.
- Traditional Tomahawk throwing, practice with coaching.
- International championship Double bit axe throwing, coaching, competition regulations and target design.
All of courses are run at the Irish National Heritage Park in Wexford. The cost is €40 per person and the course runs for about an hour and a half. Places are limited..
